Public input sought by study committees

Legislative study committees meet during the summer and fall to allow for comprehensive review of topics that are likely to come before the General Assembly the following year. Public testimony is a key component of the review process. Please note two important upcoming opportunities for submitting your comments and suggestions:

Public meetings scheduled for Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education transition

Following the enactment of HEA1367 during the 2012 General Assembly, the Office of Management and Budget will hold public meetings to develop a transition plan for the creation of a new Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education. Meetings will be held in South Bend, Beford and Indianapolis.

Public meetings will be held on:

Monday June 18th; South Bend

• 6pm; South Bend at Adams High School

Tuesday June 19^th; Bedford

• 6pm; Beford North Lawrence High School

Wednesday June 20th; Indianapolis

• 6pm; Indiana Government Center South Conference Center
